A logo that is a statement of intent
When we redesigned the FlowSharp logo, the starting point was not aesthetics. It was a precise question: what does this product actually represent?
The answer was not 'a workflow engine' or 'an automation platform'. It was something more precise and, in a sense, more ambitious: a system where human intelligence and artificial intelligence work together, governed by clear, measurable and controllable processes.
The logo that emerged is split into two perfectly balanced halves, united by a central structure that connects and governs them. Not a vague metaphor. An architectural statement.
The left side: human intelligence
The left half of the logo is a brain. Not stylised, not abstract: recognisable, with its organic complexity, its lobes, its irregular curves.
It represents human intelligence: contextual, relational, capable of empathy, ethical judgement and reading nuance. The intelligence that knows when a written rule is not enough, when listening matters more than deciding, when data alone is insufficient and experience is needed.
In business processes, this is the component that no language model can fully replace. It is the operator who understands that the customer is upset for a reason different from what is written in the ticket. It is the manager who recognises that the deviation from the process is not an error but a signal. It is the team that builds trust over time.
FlowSharp was designed not to eliminate this side. To amplify it.
The right side: artificial intelligence
The right half is a circuit. Precise lines, defined nodes, a microchip at the centre. The topology of a digital system: deterministic, scalable, tireless.
It represents artificial intelligence: fast at processing data volumes that no human could manage, capable of recognising invisible patterns, classifying, synthesising, suggesting, acting in parallel on thousands of simultaneous cases.
But the circuit alone is not enough. An AI system without context can be fast at answering badly. Without constraints, it can optimise for the wrong metric. Without governance, it can act in ways nobody can explain, verify or correct.

Between the two halves, at the centre of the logo, there is a vertical structure that unites them. It is not decorative. It is the process.
Process is what transforms the coexistence of human and artificial intelligence into something ordered, measurable and controllable. Without it, the two intelligences overlap without coordinating. With it, every part knows when and how to intervene.
In FlowSharp, the process is explicit: states, transitions, tasks, rules, roles, data, deadlines. It is not a diagram on paper or a document nobody reads. It is a living operating system that executes, measures and tracks every step.
The central structure of the logo says exactly this: the two intelligences do not communicate directly. They communicate through the process. And the process ensures that every interaction is verifiable, reproducible and improvable over time.
Governed Intelligence: when every part gives its best
Governed Intelligence is not a technical term. It is an operational vision.
It means that human intelligence can focus on what it does best — deciding in ambiguous cases, building relationships, interpreting context, taking responsibility — because AI handles what it does best: processing, classifying, suggesting, executing at scale.
