ActiveSOP — procedures become living operating guides: company procedures (manuals, job descriptions, ISO instructions) no longer sit in a forgotten PDF: they enter FlowSharp as versioned documents, link to flow tasks as the official source, and when the procedure changes the designer is told which guides need realigning. On top, a premium feature uses AI to generate task operating guides straight from the procedure text — with mandatory human review before applying them.

Procedure Registry
**Versioned, traceable procedures.** Every procedure lives in FlowSharp with its immutable versions — who uploaded it, when, what changed, and a fingerprint (hash) of every version guaranteeing integrity. **Built-in editor.** Write or paste the procedure directly (even from Google Docs or Word): every save creates a new tracked version. Alternatively upload a PDF, and FlowSharp extracts the text automatically. **Citable sections.** The procedure's headings become referenceable sections — so a guide can point to the exact paragraph that justifies it.

Task guides linked to their source
**Official source on the task.** In the designer, a task's guide can declare which procedure, version and section it derives from; existing free-form guides keep working as before. **Alert when the procedure changes.** When a new version is uploaded, tasks linked to earlier versions are marked "to realign" — badges on the procedure list and on the flow in the designer, plus an in-app notification to admins and designers. One click on "Mark aligned" refreshes the link when the guide is already fine. **Two-way coverage.** From the procedure you see which flows and tasks use it; from the task you trace back to the source, with a clickable citation ("Procedure X v3 · §4.2") opening the original section. **Links that travel with the flow.** Export, import, new versions and templates preserve the link safely.

Generate guides with AI (premium)
**From procedure to guides in one step.** Pick the procedure and the target flow: the AI proposes an operating guide for each task (what to do, what to check, mistakes to avoid), citing the procedure section that justifies it — never inventing references. **Mandatory human review.** Nothing is written without your control: proposals are reviewed and edited one by one before applying, and they remain freely editable afterwards.
