  Placeholders are searchable again

  "36 items" really does open those 36 items. The assignee filter accepted only email addresses or internal codes, which is to say it rejected exactly the hand-written names reconciliation exists to fix — the item list's "Assignee" dropdown, full of such names, was unusable too. "190 tasks" no longer opens an empty list either: that link fell back on free-text search, which looks at the task description and the item reference but not the assignee, so you landed on zero results with no error and no explanation. The Tasks page now has a real assignee filter, counting exactly like the number you started from, and when you arrive through that link you see it written at the top with its own dismiss button: no list filtered behind your back.

  Reconcile and reassign from the item detail

  When an item is assigned to a name matching no user, the box that tells you now offers the remedy too: "reconcile" opens the same full procedure as User management, without hunting that name down on another page. Next to the assignee's name you get "reassign" instead, revealed by hovering over the information box or reaching it from the keyboard: you can pick a user from the list, type a free label — a team, someone not yet in the system — or clear the assignment entirely. Both commands are reserved to administrators.

  Open tasks follow the item, but only the right ones

  When you reassign an item, the tasks still to be done that belonged to the same person or had no assignee move to the new one. Someone else's tasks never move, and closed ones stay as they are: they are history. Before applying you see how many will move. The reassignment is recorded in the item's history, and reminders in flight towards the former assignee are closed instead of continuing to chase someone no longer responsible.

  Visual fixes

  In the "Cost breakdown" chart, an entry worth very little compared to the others vanished entirely in light theme, erased by the white border separating the slices: the border is gone, spacing does the separating, and an entry with a real cost always keeps a visible slice. In the calendar's dark theme, the box opening on a busy day stayed white with light text inside, effectively unreadable, and the grid had near-white lines: the calendar now follows the theme. Unfilled rating stars were golden just like filled ones, so a score of 1 out of 5 looked like a row of full stars: now only the score is coloured, the rest of the scale is a neutral outline.
