  Global search

  Press ⌘K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux — or the / key outside a text field — to open the new global search from any page, even with a flow or map open in the Designer. You'll also find a "Search…" entry at the bottom of the menu. On phones, search fills the whole screen.

  One search, every source

  The same box searches features and menu entries, flows, process maps, Library documents, items, tasks and procedures — with the same permissions you already see in each list. Choose which sources stay on: your choice is saved to your profile and follows you wherever you sign in.

• Design

  Quick opening, without losing context

  A flow opens in the Designer with Enter and in the monitor with ⌘/Ctrl+Enter; an item, task or procedure open in a window above the search, which keeps waiting behind it with everything you typed; a map or document always open at full page.

• Security

  Never your item's data

  Searching items only matches their title and reference, never the data they hold; task search only finds open ones, and unless you have a management role, only your own. Searches leave no trace in the Activity Log, and recent results stay only in the browser you're using.

• Design

  Designer events in their own window

  "Manage events" and "Open event" now open in a dedicated window, without the menu or assistant bar, so the Designer always stays in view; if your browser blocks pop-ups, it opens in a new tab as before.
