v0.93.2

September 30, 2026

They're called cases now: the thing that moves through a flow is no longer called an "item" but a "case", across the interface and the guide; and global search gets more precise.

  • Improvement

    "Case" instead of "Item"

What we used to call an "item" is now a case: the menu reads "Cases", the button "+ New case", and the same goes for dashboards, Kanban, the Designer and the guide. If the flow has an entity name, the list uses it: "Orders" and "+ New order". Integrations don't change: the API and MCP tools keep calling it item.

  • Security

Engine events are raised only by the engine

An event's category now says who can raise it: Core events, including those generated by flows, are raised only by FlowSharp; External events come from external systems or from the console for testing, not from scripts. The Events console only offers the ones you can actually publish. An Event task that used to publish a phase event now fails: use a Custom event instead.

  • Design

    "Reference" instead of "Entity Ref"

The column holding the case's code in your external system is now called "Reference", with an explanation on hover.

  • Improvement

    The right release, already open

If you pick a What's New entry from search while the What's New page is already open, the release now shows up expanded even when it isn't the first one of its month.

  • Design

    Excerpts readable on your phone

The description excerpt in search results now takes up to two lines, so on narrow screens the highlighted term stays visible.

  • Security

Search terms kept out of technical logs

What you type in global search and in list search boxes no longer appears in clear text in the server's technical logs.
