Savings are not promised. They are measured and consolidated.
With the Saving Challenge the baseline is frozen, the saving is calculated every month on real data and the fee accrues only on what has been demonstrated.

The problem
Improvement projects promise savings nobody really verifies. The baseline is reconstructed after the fact, estimates mix with data and the current month is already counted. The client does not trust it, the supplier cannot prove value, and a success-fee model becomes impossible to manage. For an outcome-based agreement to work you need rules both parties can check: a starting point that cannot be retouched, a calculation that repeats every month and the certainty that what has been consolidated is not reopened. The Saving Challenge is built around these three guarantees.
Months
- Consolidated months: solid bars
- Current month: dashed projection
Contract
- Consolidated net saving · Accrued fee
- Baseline frozen · SHA-256
How it works
- 1
You observe
You choose an observation period and review cost per case, volumes, operating cost, estimated manual work and data quality. Corrections require a traced justification.
- 2
You freeze the baseline
Freezing is immutable, with a SHA-256 fingerprint of the cost components. If the process changes before freezing, the proposal becomes "stale".
- 3
You define the terms
Duration, success-fee percentage, recurring costs and minimum fee, tried first in the terms simulator.
- 4
Every month consolidates
Baseline, real volumes, measured costs, AI and recurring costs give the net saving and the accrued fee. Only consolidated months accrue, and they are immutable; the current month stays a dashed projection.

An operational example (illustrative values)
After the observation period the cost baseline is frozen, with a SHA-256 fingerprint of the components. Duration, success-fee percentage, recurring costs and minimum fee are defined, trying them first in the terms simulator. Then the contract starts. In the diagram the solid bars represent consolidated months, in the example month 1, month 2 and month 3, while the dashed bar is the projection of the current month, which does not accrue. Each consolidated month combines baseline, real volumes, measured costs, AI and recurring costs to give the net saving and the accrued fee. The bar heights are illustrative values, not a client's results, and the diagram is not an official screenshot. The Saving Challenge is a service and is not included in any plan: for commercial details go through the services page.
How to verify a month and the contract
Both parties can check the contract with the same data. For a month, open the detail and verify that it is consolidated: only consolidated months accrue and can no longer be modified. Then check that measured saving, called hard, and estimated saving, called capacity, are kept separate, and that the baseline is the frozen one with its fingerprint. The Excel export contains contract, monthly detail and per-flow detail, with formulas, and allows an independent recalculation. If the perimeter changes, the Challenge health flags archived, deleted or never-published flows, and a map with a baseline cannot be deleted. If the terms change, an amendment applies from the month after the last consolidated one. In case of termination, the stop month becomes a partial month prorated by days. Every baseline correction is justified and traced, and the optional chapter in the map PDF documents it.

Use cases
Frequently asked questions
Is the Saving Challenge included in the plans?
No: it is a service activated per organization, tied to the consulting path. See the services page.
What happens if the process changes during the Challenge?
The baseline stays the frozen one. Changes to the terms apply through amendments from the month after the last consolidated one.
Can I check the calculations?
Yes: the Excel export includes the contract, monthly and per-flow detail, with the formulas.
Why does the current month not count?
Because the data is not final yet: only what is consolidated accrues.
